This series is called Wabi-sabi because there’s beauty in imperfection. This batch was cured at a different temperature, and at first, I almost threw them all out—as in my eyes, they were imperfect and the colors weren’t what I had intended. But after leaving them aside for a few months, setting down the frustration of feeling like all my hard work was wasted, I took another look and saw that they had their own unique charm.

Often, we believe everything needs to be perfect—uniform, with the right tones and finishes. But after giving them a glaze, I noticed a quiet beauty in their differences. They reminded me of the stained glass windows I saw in the churches of Spain, glowing in similar hues.

All pieces are handmade using polymer clay, baked, and carefully refined through sanding and polishing. Each pair is uniquely created, and no two pieces are the same which is truly the best part of creating such pieces.
